1. How many tickets are there?

There are 1,300 calendar draw tickets printed, and 1,300 50/50 add-on tickets printed.  ^

2. How much do tickets cost?

Dining Club tickets are available for $25 each.  Remember -- one Dining Club ticket enters you into all 36 draws, where you could potentially win more almost $6000 in prizes over the span of 12 months!

When you purchase your Dining Club tickets you can also purchase 50/50 tickets! 50/50 tickets are available 1/$10 or 3/$25 or 5 for $40 or 10 for $75. Learn more about 50/50 rules by clicking here!  ^

3. Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets are available for purchase online or through an authorized ticket seller - please contact Lynnann at lanstey@choicesforyouth.ca or 709.754.0446 ext. 211. Please note that tickets go on sale once a year; For the current license ticket sales run from September 01, 2023 to October 13th, 2023. If applicable, visit the purchase page to get your Dining Club and 50/50 tickets!  ^

4. What prizes can I win?

You can also purchase an additional add-on 50/50 ticket, which will enter you to win a one-time draw for up to $6,500! Learn more about 50/50 and purchase your tickets here!  ^

5. Is there an early bird prize?

This year there is TWO early bird prizes! If you purchase your tickets on or before September 25th, 2023 (3:00pm) you will be entered to win both exclusive extra prizes! Early bird prize will be drawn on October 31st. See the entire prize schedule here!  ^

6. If I win a prize, am I re-entered to win other prizes?

Yes! Dining Club is a non-elimination draw, which means that any Dining Club ticket drawn to win a prize is then re-entered to win subsequent prizes. You could potentially win all 36 Dining Club prizes! If you purchase a 50/50 add-on ticket, you will be entered into the one (1) 50/50 draw. You can read through all contest rules here.  ^

7. Where do the proceeds go?

All proceeds from the Dining Club ticket lottery and 50/50 draw will support the Outreach program at Choices for Youth, an organization that helps out homeless and at-risk youth in St. John's and the surrounding areas. You could win a night out at one of St. John's best local restaurants and help provide a warm meal for a young person who needs it. 8. Are tickets refundable?

All ticket sales are non-refundable. Once you have purchased a ticket you will not be able to withdraw from the contest or get your money refunded. All contest rules can be found here.  ^

10. I don't want the prize, can I take cash instead?

Unfortunately due to the nature of the draw and donations from our fabulous community supporters we are unable to offer cash substitutes. Prizes will be dispersed as stated in the prize schedule.  ^

11. This lottery sounds incredible - how do I get my hands on a ticket?

Head on over to our online purchasing page and buy your tickets for Dining Club NL and the 50/50 draw! You will receive your ticket(s) via mail before the first draw date. Get your ticket soon -- last day for ticket sales is October 13, 2023!  ^

12. what happens to my prize if there’s a covid-19 lockdown?

In the event of a COVID-19 lockdown, Choices for Youth (CFY) will follow all recommended procedures and guidelines as set out by Public Health. If you win during a lockdown period, please get in contact with us for further details. ^
